Andrew Muirhead has received the environmental standard from the British Standards Institute: BS-EN ISO 14001:2000. Our dedicated environmental manager Miller Bowie is continually updating all our systems to ensure that everything we do minimises environmental impact.
Miller says: "Attaining 14001 is a great achievement for Andrew Muirhead. A great deal of work has been carried out in terms of recycling factory waste, using the most energy efficient machinery and ensuring that every member of our workforce plays their part by adopting correct 'green' practices in the factory." TUV ApprovalTUV the German Institute for Traffic Safety has announced that Andrew Muirhead's new Library of Leather complies with the European Union Council Directive 95/28/EC of 24 October 1995.
