PriestmanGoode has unveiled new train with Muirhead leather interior

PriestmanGoode has unveiled a new train interior featuring Muirhead’s lowest carbon high performance leather and digitally printed panels.

This premium leather aims to transform the rail experience and elevate rail interiors to match those of an airline. It offers more flexibility, improved comfort, and design features that benefit travellers.

PriestmanGoode was awarded funding for the project through the Department of Transport’s ‘First of a Kind’ competition, run by Innovate UK. The Proteus Rail Interior System demonstrator was displayed in Marylebone Station, giving the public a chance to test the new seats and aspects of the train layout.
